Scientists finally perfected their ability to create life in a test tube.

Feeling rather proud and accomplished, they dialed up God and challenged him to a competition.

"We scientists are so effective at creating life, we now think we can do it faster than you and we'd like to challenge you to a competition."

God pondered the offer and then decided, "Yes, you're on."

So, on the count of 3, both the scientists and God began their work on creating a new life.

Hurrying to be first, the scientists reached down to grab a handful of dirt to begin gathering the essential elements necessary for life.

As their hands touched the earth, a giant bolt of lightning came down from the sky and crashed next to the scientist, who startled and afraid, quickly jumped back.

Then a deep voice came bellowing from the heavans above, "Get your own dirt."
